Parks: Pikes Pool

By City of Edinburgh Council

Background
A delightful wooded area with glades and leafy paths. One of the paths leads to the pond after which the park is is named. A distillery tapped the pond for water as far back as the early 19th century. It is no longer in use today but the lade and sluices can still be seen.
