Background
Dovecot Park is a place for ball games, play and a quiet stroll. It has also been designed to please the eye with cherry trees, sycamores, mixed hawthorn and elder. Where the bank drops to meet the Water of Leith, a wild woodland of ash, oak, cherry, hawthorn, conifer and dogrose has established.
History and heritage
The park was created in 1960.
