Background

An attractive woodland park in Currie, in the south west of Edinburgh. The local community have worked with the local school and the Council to transform this park into a tranquil haven, with woodland walks, seats and a play area. The park has been awarded a Green Flag since 2011, in recognition of it being a quality green space.

Wildlife
|
The woodland is rich in bird life and the Friends groups have put up a range of bird and bat boxes to encourage even more wildlife to the park. They have also planted wild flowers and hold regular mini beast hunts for the local school.
