New Green Skills Traineeships to Boost Biodiversity and Employment in Scotland

The City of Edinburgh Council has partnered with The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) and other organisations to launch an exciting new Green Skills Traineeship.

The training aims  to enhance biodiversity and upskill young people across Scotland.

The 10-month paid traineeship is open to young people aged 16-25 facing barriers to employment and will provide hands-on training in improving greenspaces and community access to nature.

Participants will work across Edinburgh, Falkirk, East Dunbartonshire, and Scottish Canals, creating green corridors and enhancing biodiversity in areas of deprivation.
